Labor Day Weekend 2011 – Fun stuff at the Jersey Shore!

Here’s what’s happening at the Jersey Shore on Labor Day Weekend 2011:

Oceanport

Saturday, September 3rd, 2011 and Sunday, September, 4th, 2011.  BBQ & Craft Beer Festival at Monmouth Park. Enjoy Beach Haus Classic American Pilsner and sample delicious domestic, import and specialty beers. Savor fantastic BBQ dishes from a variety of vendors and local restaurants!  Entry into the beer garden is $10, tickets sold at the beer garden entrance.  Get more details at the Monmouth Park events website.

Point Pleasant Beach

Friday, September 2nd, 2011.  Wristband night!  Ride all the amusements for $15 per person from 5pm-11pm.  Plus check out Movies at Dark on Jenkinson’s Beach, featuring the movie: Tangled.  Movie time is 9pm.

Frankies Bar & Grill.  Casual Restaurant/Saloon in Old-Fashioned Eclectic, Fun Atmosphere. Fresh Seafood, Hand Cut Steaks, Delicious Burgers and Sandwiches served in large portions. One of the best spots at the shore for great food and drink!

709. Creative Coastal Cuisine & Killer Cocktails in a Swanky setting!  Perfect place to chill with new and old friends. Saturday, September 4th, 2011.  Movies on the Beach, featuring JAWS!  Hiering Ave Ocean Front Stage, starting at dusk.

JR’s Ocean Grill. The best food and drinks on the “Board”!  Pizza, Raw Bar Cuisine, Seafood and of course the Drinks. Anything and everything. Daily drink specials at the bar!

Island Beach State Park

Fish, Hike, Swim, Bike, Surf, or Picnic with friends and family circled around a beach fire!  Over 3000 acres and 10 miles of coastal dunes remain almost untouched since Henry Hudson first described New Jersey’s coast in 1609.
